# How do I enable two-factor authentication?

> Add an extra layer of security to your Revti account.

## Steps

**1.** Go to **Settings** then **Account** then **Security**.

**2.** Click **Enable Two-Factor Authentication**.

**3.** Scan the QR code with an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Authy.

**4.** Enter the six-digit code from your authenticator app to confirm.

**5.** Save the backup codes provided in a secure location.

<Warning>If you lose access to your authenticator app and your backup codes, you will need to contact [support@revti.ai](mailto:support@revti.ai) to regain access to your account.</Warning>
