# What are the booking mode options?

> Choose how your AI receptionist handles appointment scheduling.

## Overview

Revti offers different booking modes that control how appointments are scheduled.

## Modes

### Auto-confirm

Bookings are automatically confirmed and added to your calendar without requiring your approval. Best for businesses that want fully hands-off scheduling.

### Request and confirm

The AI collects the booking request and sends it to you for approval. You must manually confirm or decline each booking. Best for businesses that need to review appointments before committing.

### Collect details only

The AI collects the caller's preferred date, time, and service, but does not attempt to schedule. You receive the details and handle scheduling yourself.

## How to change your booking mode

Go to **Settings** then **Bookings** in your dashboard and select your preferred mode.
