# How do I switch between mobile and landline numbers?

> Choose whether your AI receptionist uses a mobile or landline number.

## Overview

When you set up your Revti AI receptionist, you are assigned a phone number. You can request either a mobile number or a landline number depending on what suits your business.

## How to switch

**1.** Log in to your Revti dashboard.

**2.** Navigate to Settings.

**3.** Under Phone Number, you will see your current number type.

**4.** To switch between mobile and landline, contact our team at [support@revti.ai](mailto:support@revti.ai) with your preference.

## Which should I choose?

* **Landline numbers** look more professional and established. Recommended for practices, clinics, and offices.
* **Mobile numbers** are familiar and approachable. Suitable for tradespeople, consultants, and solo operators.

<Note>Switching your number may take up to 24 hours. Your previous number will be deactivated once the new one is live, so remember to update your call forwarding settings.</Note>
