# How do missed call alerts work?

> Get notified when a call does not connect successfully.

## Overview

In rare cases, a call may not connect properly — for example, if there is a network issue or the caller hangs up before the AI can answer. When this happens, Revti sends you a missed call alert with the caller's number so you can call them back.

## How to enable

Go to **Settings** then **Notifications** and toggle on **Missed call alerts**. Choose email, SMS, or both.

<Note>Missed calls are rare with Revti since the AI answers instantly. Most missed calls are callers who hang up within one or two seconds.</Note>
