Overview

The opening message is the first thing callers hear when your AI receptionist picks up. Customising this ensures it sounds natural and on-brand for your business.

How to customise

1. Go to Settings then Receptionist in your dashboard. 2. Find the Opening Message field. 3. Type your preferred greeting, for example: “Good morning, thank you for calling Smith Dental. How can I help you today?” 4. Click Save.

Tips for a good opening message

  • Keep it short and warm — under 15 seconds spoken
  • Include your business name so callers know they have reached the right place
  • End with an open question like “How can I help?”
  • Avoid jargon or overly formal language
